A hotel on the longest beach in the world

Cox's Bazar has the longest natural sea beach in the world: a hundred and twenty kilometres of unbroken sand down the eastern edge of the Bay of Bengal. Marine Drive runs along it, and the water sits west of everything on that road — which is why the sunset is the thing people come back for.

The house is going up on that road with the beach on one side of it, and most of the plan follows from that single fact: the rooms angled at the water, the pool deck on the beach side, and a rooftop bar put exactly where the last of the light lands.

Three hundred rooms and suites across four types, from sea-facing kings to connecting family rooms around a shaded courtyard.

Around them: six places to eat and drink, from Laboni's all-day service to Horizon on the roof; a bakery with its own door to the street; a pool and wellness deck; a spa and gymnasium; and a business floor with an executive lounge.

Exactly what opens in the first phase is confirmed closer to the date.
